What happens when I am due to renew? 
Aruna will reach out to you the month before your renewal is due to confirm if you would like to continue your membership. 
 
What if I cannot make a meeting one month? 
We ask you to find a substitute (sub) to attend in your place and represent you. This ensures your 60-second introduction is still shared, and it gives the group the chance to meet someone new – which benefits everyone. 
 
What is a Sub? 
A sub is simply someone who attends a meeting on your behalf if you cannot make it. They’ll share your introduction and represent your business. 
 
How do I find a Sub? 
You can invite: Someone you know who is not already locked out of your group, or 
Another BWN member from a different group (as long as their profession isn’t locked out). 
 
What does “Lockout” mean? 
Each profession is “locked out” to ensure only one person per profession in a group. This means you are the go-to expert in the room for your industry. 
 
Example: If there’s already a Mortgage Adviser in the group, another Mortgage Adviser cannot join or visit that group. However, they are welcome to attend another BWN group where the seat is available. 
 
Is there a monthly meeting fee? 
Yes – the meeting fee is £28.00 per month (over 10 months, as we don’t meet in August or December). This is payable directly to your host and covers both lunch and the meeting.
