The Mastermind Experience
Posted on 13th March 2025 at 09:46

It’s been six months since I launched my Mastermind: an intimate group for those who are ready to really elevate their business to the next level, and support each other to get there. I just can’t believe the magic it’s created for its members in that short time, and the difference it’s made to their businesses. Here’s more about what it’s all about, plus some inside info from one of our members…
What is Mastermind?
Surrounding yourself with ambitious, successful, like minded people is one of the best ways to grow both personally and professionally – and I wanted to create a Mastermind that is more than just strategy.
You bring your goals, ambitions and blockers to the group, and we all come up with focused solutions for your business together. Then you set the goals you plan to achieve for the next quarter, and we’re all there to hold you accountable and support you to do it too. It’s a monthly membership, with quarterly meetings in luxury locations, and access to support from me and the group as often as you need it.
From the biggest issues to the smallest gripes, we tackle it all and come up with creative new suggestions from our collective experience to inspire you, and remove those obstacles that are worrying you and holding you back. In the last month alone, these are some of the issues we have covered:
• Starting an online membership
• The best tools to automate bookings and accounts
• What to do if a client doesn’t pay you
• How to troubleshoot on Canva
• How much to charge for a new product
• How to say no to clients that are difficult
• Setting up a Foundation
• How to position a new offering
In just the past few months, our Mastermind group has accomplished incredible things. ALL of the members have transformed their ideas into action—and they didn’t do it alone. This group thrives on collaboration, accountability, and the shared drive to achieve big goals, both professionally and personally.
Here’s an interview with one of our first Mastermind members, Jennie Moore, about her experience and how it’s transformed business for her:
What attracted you to Mastermind?
I'd been hearing a lot about Masterminds and what they can do for your business. I was curious and so wanted to experience one for myself before I made the commitment – and with the Taster Day offer, I was able to do that. It really is like having access to your own board of directors for the day, and once I’d experience that, I knew the ongoing Mastermind was just what I needed!
Can you give us a flavour of the first quarterly Mastermind meeting - the atmosphere, the other businesses in the room, and how the day unfolded?
Aruna prepped us well for the first session so we knew what the structure was going to look like. We also had to come prepared with information so the day would be as productive as possible. There were a variety of other businesswomen in the room all from different industries, which I liked because it meant there was a wide perspective and different viewpoints. We were at different stages of business with different goals, but we all were highly focussed on growth and ready to put the work in to achieve that. Each intake has a maximum of 10 members, which gives the perfect balance of being intimate but with a broad range of experiences.
The day was split into sections: a reflective part analysing where we currently were in all areas of life, where we wanted to be, and then making a plan of how to get there. The most helpful part of the day for me was discussing specific business problems, challenges and ideas, and then using the group's hive mind to work on it. I actually got just as much out of discussing other people's challenges as I did my own, because we are all looking to achieve similar things, so you were exposed to a huge wealth of experience on all sorts of different topics.
How did you feel at the end of that first day?
I was an equal mix of absolutely buzzing as well as exhausted! We had covered so much in terms of planning, goal setting and absorbing information it was a lot to process - all in a good way. It felt so good to have the next quarter all mapped out already, as well as having input from nine others on how to overcome any challenges I had in the business.

And what happens in between the meetings?
In between we have a What'sApp group. It isn't spammy - in it we support each other, ask questions and generally act as a team. We also have training sessions from the group on their area of speciality, plus other guest speakers.
What are the top three changes you've noticed since you started Mastermind?
1) I’m more confident in my decision making.
2) I’m happier - it can be lonely working on your own. I feel like I’m surrounded by a team that's got my back.
3) The accountability has made me more focussed.
What advice would you give anyone who’s thinking about joining?
If you’re serious about your business, want to grow it and miss having the support of a team, this is absolutely the place for you. You also need to be prepared to give as much as you get. It's not a one-way street: you need to be generous with your knowledge and support, and you’ll get so much back in return.
If you’re ready to accelerate your business just like Jennie and the other Mastermind members, I’d love to hear from you.
I hold regular Taster Days, where you can try Mastermind out – it’s a no-obligation event where you’ll see what it’s like to be part of this transformative group. I’m so confident you’ll love it, that if you sign up to the full Mastermind after your taster day, the cost will be deducted from your first month’s membership. Find out more about the next Taster Day here – spaces are deliberately limited, and always in high demand!
